4 on 4 off (rotating days/nights) Pay: £13 per hour Overview Working in a factory environment, you will test, measure, and monitor product quality, ensuring processes and standards are consistently met while supporting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Carry out routine inspections and tests on materials and products. Ensure flexible packaging meets quality standards (seal strength, print quality, barrier properties, dimensions, etc.). Use quality testing tools such as micrometers, callipers, seal testers, COF testers, ovens, and tensile testers. Record and analyse data, keeping accurate quality documentation. Support investigations into non-conformances and customer complaints. Assist with root-cause analysis, CAPA, and audit activities.

Maintain and calibrate testing equipment. Promote quality, safety, and GMP/ISO/HACCP compliance. Maintain a tidy QC area and uphold BRCGS standards. Report maintenance issues and ensure smooth shift handovers. Meet daily production and quality targets. Follow all company and Health & Safety procedures. Attend required training and complete other reasonable tasks. Skills & Experience QC experience desirable but not essential.

Experience with BRCGS environments and materials (films, laminates, etc.) preferred. Knowledge of lamination, slitting, and print testing is beneficial. Basic maths and computer skills (Microsoft Office). Strong communication, timekeeping, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions.
