TIG Welder

Are you an experienced TIG Welder with a background working with stainless steel sheet metal? Do you take pride in producing high-quality welds on architectural and bespoke metalwork projects? If so, we want to hear from you.

We are currently recruiting for a TIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing and fabrication business specialising in architectural metalwork. This is a permanent opportunity to join a skilled and experienced team working on high-quality stainless steel fabrication projects.

Location:

Corby

Pay: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour (DOE)

Hours:

39 hours per week

Contract:

Permanent

• Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel components
• Work predominantly with 316L stainless steel
• Weld material typically around 3mm thickness, ranging up to 8mm
• Work from technical and fabrication drawings
• Ensure welds meet required quality and visual standards
• Support fabrication and finishing processes where required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow all company quality and health & safety procedures

• Have proven TIG welding experience within sheet metal or fabrication environments
• Have strong experience working with stainless steel sheet metal
• Be confident welding 316L stainless steel
• Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Have strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Be reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
