Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm (early finish)
Overtime:
Paid at time and a half after 39 hours

About the Role

Due to continued growth, our client - a market‑leading manufacturer based in Corby - is looking to recruit an experienced Forklift & Stores Operator to join their established and supportive team. This is a varied, hands‑on role offering long‑term stability within a company known for excellent staff retention and a strong focus on health and safety.

You will report directly to the Stores Team Manager and play a key role in the day‑to‑day operation of the stores and warehouse function.

Key Responsibilities

Maintaining accurate stock levels and replenishing as required
Loading and unloading stock safely and efficiently
Picking, packing, and despatching customer orders
Operating Counterbalance and Bendi forklifts
Completing works orders and despatch paperwork
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Adhering to all health & safety procedures at all times
Assisting with customer collections and delivery of parts to field engineers when required
Supporting the Stores Team Manager with additional duties as needed

Requirements

Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment
Valid in‑date Counterbalance and Bendi forklift licences
Full, clean UK driving licence
Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
Ability to follow instructions and work to technical specifications
Proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Flexible approach to working hours when required
