* Friday: 7:00am-3:30pm (Flexibility required)

New opportunity! Our client is a growing, niche food manufacturer based in Corby, Northamptonshire, and they are looking for an experienced Food Production Operator to join their team.

This is a varied and hands-on role, working across multiple departments to support production supervisors and help ensure daily production targets are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Operating industrial mixing, blending, and occasional packaging machinery
Measuring and weighing raw ingredients accurately following recipes and SOPs
Maintaining strict compliance with hygiene, food safety, and quality standards
Completing accurate production records and batch documentation
Carrying out full machine clean-downs and routine equipment checks
Using a Reach Forklift Truck when required
Packing finished goods ready for dispatch
Supporting team targets in a fast-paced environment
Manual handling of up to 25kg and standing for extended periods

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in food production or food manufacturing (e.g., mixer/mixing operator, production assistant, manufacturing assistant)
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
A team-focused attitude with strong communication skills
Excellent attention to detail, dexterity, and good eyesight
A passion for producing high-quality products
Reliable, flexible, and willing to learn new skills
A valid external Reach licence required
