A highly reputable and well-invested FMCG manufacturer based in Corby is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer to join their night shift team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, fast‑paced production environment with strong investment in both people and equipment.

As a Night Shift Multi‑Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of production equipment during night operations. Working 12‑hour shifts, you’ll play a critical role in keeping downtime to a minimum and ensuring production targets are consistently met.

• Carrying out reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively
• Supporting production teams with breakdown resolution and equipment optimisation
• Working on a range of automated FMCG production and packaging machinery
• Driving continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site
• Completing accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance standards are met
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and food safety at all times

You will be a skilled and proactive engineer with strong multi‑skilled capability and experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You should be confident working independently on nights and taking ownership of technical issues.

• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills
• FMCG, food, or high‑volume manufacturing experience
• PLC fault‑finding ability (advantageous)
• A calm, solution‑focused approach under pressure
• Good communication skills and strong teamwork when handing over shifts

• £58,000 salary
