My client has a strong global presence and they dominate their sector as the market leader in the UK. Through continued growth they require a mechanical maintenance engineer to minimise machinery downtime. A great opportunity to be recognised in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

• Planned and reactive maintenance of processing machinery and ancillary equipment
• Replace/repair parts and fitting bearings/gears
• Strip downs, inspections and rebuilds of roll mill stands
• Mechanical fault finding and testing
• Rotating shifts days only including weekends

• Mechanical maintenance engineer or fitter from a heavy factory environment (backgrounds from Manufacturing, FMCG, Construction or similar)
• NVQ Level 3 mechanical qualification or equivalent
• Strong fitting capabilities with experience using induction heaters and presses
