Junior CNC Machinist circa

Hours:

39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Hours 8 am – 5 pm (Monday – Thursday), 8.00am –1.00pm (Friday)

Our client is looking for a reliable and motivated Junior CNC Machinist to join their growing production team. This would suit an Engineering college leaver or similar, looking to get into a hands-on engineering role.

Working within our machine shop, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery (training given) to produce high-quality precision components.

• Operate HAAS CNC milling and turning machinessafely and efficiently.
• Manufacture components to engineering drawing sand specifications.
• Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
• Inspect components to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Monitor production output and identify anyquality or process issues.
• Maintain a clean and organised working area.
• Work closely with colleagues and the team leaderto meet production targets.
• Follow company health and safety procedures atall times.
• Assist with machine set-ups and tooling changes where required.

Engineering college leaver

• 39-hour working week, Monday to Friday. (Early finish on a Friday)
