Pertemps Northampton is recruiting Multi Skilled Production Operatives for a permanent, full-time role in Corby, with a starting salary of £34,350 rising to £40,411 after a five-month probation. The position follows a continental shift pattern, including rotating days and nights from 06:00 to 18:00 and 18:00 to 06:00. You will join a global food manufacturing client, handling raw ingredients with a focus on quality and sustainability.

Key duties involve operating machinery, monitoring production lines, and ensuring safety standards. Previous manufacturing experience and adaptability to shift work are essential. This is a permanent contract offering clear salary progression.

On their behalf, Pertemps are now seeking a Multi Skilled Production Operative to join the manufacturing team to help them deliver quality products safely, efficiently, and responsibly.

• Operate production equipment and carry out tasks to the highest standards following full training.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, including ISO 9001, HACCP, and site-specific policies.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices to maintain product integrity and consistency.
• Support the company’s ESG goals by working safely, minimising waste, and reducing the need for product remixes.
• Identify and suggest operational improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain smooth production flow.

• Commitment to health & safety and quality standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

• Valid Forklift Counterbalance Truck licence.
• Experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/BRC, HACCP, Food Safety, Hygiene, COSHH, and pest control.
• Basic computer skills.
• Food Safety Level 2 qualification.
