We are currently supporting a leadingFMCG manufacturing organisation in the appointment of an experienced
Production Shift Manager
.

This is akey leadership position responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient and effective production workflow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will leadand develop ashift team, ensuring that materials are converted into finished products while consistently achieving high standards across safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery andpeople performance.

This is an excellent opportunity foran experienced Production leader who enjoysworkingin a dynamic, highly structured environment and is passionate about developing peopleand driving continuous improvement.

• Ensure full compliance with legal, food safety, health & safety, environmental and people policies.
• Take ownership ofshift and factoryKPI performance, ensuring targets are achieved and sustained.
• Lead, coach and support your teamto deliver operational objectives and maintain required standards.
• Oversee training and development to ensure theteam has the necessary skills, knowledge and experience.
• Effectively allocate peopleand resources toachieve production plansand budgetary requirements.
• Monitor and report shift performance, ensuring timely delivery against the production plan.
• Lead and support improvement projects acrossthe manufacturing operation.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Drive individual andteam performance through effective coaching, engagement and accountability.
• Act as a visible and influential leader, promoting high standard sand positive team morale.

• Proven experience managing and developing teams within anFMCG, food manufacturingor comparable high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong coaching, facilitation and people leadership skills.
• A track record of delivering against operational KPIs.
• Experience working with business improvement methodologiesand continuous improvement tools.
• A strong understanding of manufacturing standards, processes and operational discipline.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification, or awillingness to obtainit.
• A curious and proactive approach, with agenuine interest infinding new andbetter ways ofworking.
• A commitment to keeping your technical and professional knowledge up todate.

The following wouldbe advantageous:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365(D365).
• Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
• HACCPexperience/qualification.
