Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications, Marketing Manager
We're partnering with a well-established logistics business to hire a Senior Marketing Executive who will take full, end-to-end ownership of marketing across the organisation.
This is a true standalone marketing position. There is no wider marketing team to lean on and no agency doing the heavy lifting day to day. You'll be responsible for setting direction, managing priorities and delivering hands‑on marketing activity yourself.
If you're someone who's happiest when you own the full picture, from ideas and planning through to execution and results, this role will suit you well. If you prefer a specialist role or shared responsibility, this won't be the right fit.
About YouYou're an experienced marketer who has already worked in a standalone or highly autonomous role and understands what that really involves.
You're comfortable being the go-to person for marketing, making decisions independently, managing your own workload and seeing projects through from start to finish. You enjoy variety, accountability and the satisfaction of building and running marketing activity without constant direction.
The RoleYou'll have full responsibility for marketing across the business, including:
- Planning, managing and delivering all marketing activity end to end
- Creating content for internal and external audiences, from concept to final output
- Managing social media channels and developing the company's digital presence
- Updating and maintaining the website, with a focus on SEO and user experience
- Producing blogs, news stories, PR activity and award submissions
- Owning the marketing calendar, tracking performance and reporting on impact
This role requires proven standalone marketing experience. You'll need:
- Experience in a 360 marketing role where you owned strategy and delivery independently
- Strong digital, social and content skills, with confidence adapting messaging for different audiences
- Hands‑on website management experience, ideally using Word Press, with an understanding of SEO
- Practical design capability using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to produce polished, on‑brand assets
- Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without support
Candidates without prior standalone marketing experience are unlikely to be successful in this role.
Why Apply? You'll be joining a well-established and respected organisation with an average employee length of service of eight years, reflecting a loyal and supportive workforce.
This is a trusted, visible role where you'll have genuine autonomy, the opportunity to shape the marketing function and see the direct impact of your work across the business. Onsite benefits include a 24-hour gym and free parking.
LocationDue to the office location and full‑time, on‑site requirement, this role would suit candidates living in or able to commute to Corby and surrounding areas, including Kettering, Market Harborough, Northampton, Wellingborough, Oundle, Peterborough and Stamford.
