Social Worker - Children's Safeguarding Northamptonshire - part-time

Our client, Northamptonshire Children’s Trust, is recruiting to a RARE PART-TIME OPPORTUNITY in the Children’s Safeguarding team in Corby. This is a temporary ongoing post based in Corby. Paid at £38 per hour. 29.5hrs hours per week - (4 days) Please let me know if you are interested? Or can you refer a friend for £300 if placed? The role will involve the following:
Child Protection / CIN. Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risk, need, and vulnerability. Develop, implement, and review effective intervention and safeguarding plans to promote positive outcomes. Manage and reduce risk to children through timely safeguarding actions and care planning. Provide support, guidance, and advocacy to children and families, ensuring the child's voice remains central to decision-making.

Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals including health, education, police, and other safeguarding services. Monitor child welfare and progress, ensuring statutory duties and safeguarding responsibilities are met. Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case recordings, assessments, and reports. Participate in strategy discussions, child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings where required. Promote the safety, wellbeing, and long-term stability of children and young people.

Requirements of the role:
Qualified Social Worker Fully Social Work England registered 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules) Must have significant post-qualified experience in children’s social care including Child Protection.
