HGV Driver Class 1 & Class 2

From £16.00 PAYE with holiday accrued.

Estimated weekly pay based on 55 hours: £880.

Expected annual earnings: £45,760.

• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Always provide excellent customer service and take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
• HGV Class 1 and 2 drivers must carry out deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
• You will be working in the Recycling/Waste industry – experience of Ro Ro is desired.
• Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring them to the attention of the Transport Office as necessary.
• Possess excellent customer‑facing awareness skills.
• Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised.
• Possess an enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first‑class customer service.
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can‑do attitude to work.

• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift.
• Planned average 10 hour shift.
• You will go permanent with the client after a qualifying period.
• 6am start times and finishing by 5pm.
• Working Monday – Friday.

• Driver apps – communicate with the team and always be heard.
• Manned 24/7 availability.

• HGV Class 1 and 2 Cat C+E or Cat C licence – minimum 24 months.
• Digi Tacho & CPC cards.
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements.
• Experience of RoRo is a benefit due to the work you will be doing.
• Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours).
• Good national geographical awareness.
• Possess excellent customer‑facing awareness skills.
• Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.
• Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first‑class customer service.
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can‑do attitude to work.
