We have many open needs for LOCUMS Psychiatrists ONSITE for a Correctional facility in Corcoran, California. The Psychiatrist will provide extensive psychiatric services and work in a review, evaluation, or consultative capacity.
12 month contract for LOCUMS 1099 that will extend
Schedule is 3 or 4 ten hour day shifts Mon - Fri
Meet with mentally ill patient-inmates for crisis interventions, face-to-face interviews, etc.
Conduct mental health evaluations including criminal, psychiatric, and substance abuse case history to assess inmate’s current needs and make treatment recommendations.
Qualifications- Current clean CA MD/DO License (or license in process)
- Current DEA Certificate
- You must be board-certified or board eligible
- MUST be able to speak and understand oral and written communication and write effectively in the English language.
