Job Description & DutiesUnder the direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the supervision of the Correction Health Services Administrator I/II, the Radiologic Technologist, CF instructs and prepares patients for radiologic examinations and takes X‑rays for a variety of body structures. The technologist maintains equipment and quarters, keeps records and files, and may supervise inmate‑workers and oversee patient conduct during treatment.

Minimum Qualifications- Current valid certificate as a Certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the California State Department of Health Services.
- Either:
Two years of experience
, including training in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist (or one year of such experience may be substituted for a graduate nurse),
** OR
* * successful completion of a two‑year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association in collaboration with the American College of Radiology.

A Training and Development (T&D) assignment will not be considered at this time.
