Registered Dietitian, CF – Substance Abuse Treatment Facility, Corcoran

Base Pay Range: $6,779.00 – $8,997.00 per month (actual pay based on skills and experience). For more information, contact the recruiter.

Under direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Dietetics, CF, the Registered Dietitian, CF provides medical nutrition therapy to patients in a correctional health care facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and organizing dietary activity and providing medical nutritional therapy.
• Writing and reviewing menus, authorizing the substitution or modification of special diets.
• Serving as a member of the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT) and providing counseling to patients.
• Maintaining order, supervising the conduct of the incarcerated, and protecting and maintaining the safety of persons and property.

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
• Proof of eligibility to apply for registration (must become registered to be eligible for appointment).
