Base pay range: $4,556 – $5,175. Effective July 1, 2025. Classification:
Limited Term 12 months, may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

Department:
California Correctional Health Care Services. Position under the supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse (SRN) II/III and the clinical supervision of a Physician/Surgeon.

• Support primary care providers in various clinical settings.
• Perform patient‑oriented procedures under provider direction or authorized orders.
• Assist the Primary Care Team with daily clinic operations.
• Communicate effectively with patients and health care team members.
• Execute administrative duties and promote efficient, appropriate, cost‑effective use of health care resources.

• Valid Medical Assistant certificate from a California Department of Consumer Affairs approved agency.
• Active certification status at time of appointment.
