Under the clinical supervision of the Chief Psychiatrist and the administrative supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse (SRN) II/III, the Medical Assistant (MA) supports the Telemental Health (TMH) provider in a variety of health care settings. Responsibilities include preparing patients and providing administrative support for telemental health clinic visits, assisting with on‑site correspondence and care coordination between TMH and on‑site staff, and supporting the mental health care team for daily operations.

• Aid with telemental health clinic visits, including patient preparation and administrative support.
• Assist with on‑site correspondence and care coordination between TMH and on‑site staff.
• Provide support to the mental health care team for daily operations.

• Valid Medical Assistant certification from an agency approved by the California Department of Consumer Affairs Medical Board.
• Active certification status at the time of appointment.
• Knowledge of telemental health practices is desired.
