Job Description and DutiesEffective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 reduces each full‑time employee’s base salary by 3% and provides 5 leave credits monthly through June 2027. This limited‑term position may be extended or become permanent.
Under the general direction of the IT Manager I, the IT Supervisor II supervises, plans, assigns, and reviews the work of an information technology program and personally performs the most difficult or sensitive work for ITSD Field Operations / Client Services. Travel to institutions and after‑hours support of CCHCS software applications and systems will be required. Monitor mobile phone voicemail and email after hours to acknowledge and assist high‑priority incidents.
Minimum Qualifications- Two years of experience as an Information Technology Specialist I; or
- One year of experience as an Information Technology Supervisor I; or
- Five years of information technology experience, two of which shall include experience in a lead or supervisory capacity performing a variety of progressively responsible technical, analytical and/or supervisory tasks for computer systems or services in one or more of the major six domains or a closely related or emerging information technology field.
- Education:
A bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university may substitute for three years of the required general information technology experience. An associate’s degree may substitute for one and a half years. When using education to meet minimum qualifications, education must include 15 semester units (or 22.5 quarter units) of information technology or closely related course work.
Some telework opportunities may be available; in‑person attendance is required based on operational needs. Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position.
