Licensed Vocational Nurse, CF-California State Prison-Corcoran

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Correctional Facility – Corcoran, CA

Salary Range: $5,913.00 – $6,682.00 per month (Base pay). Additional pay details may be available upon interview.

Effective July 1, 2025, under the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) each full‑time employee and applicable part‑time employee in the specified bargaining unit will receive a 3% base salary reduction and 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Under the supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse (SRN) II/III and the clinical guidance of the Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN provides basic and technical general nursing care to patients in various correctional health care settings.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering timely, appropriate nursing care within the LVN scope of practice.
• Providing patient care under provider order and RN delegation.
• Supporting daily health care operations and coordinating with physicians and other health professionals.
• Communicating effectively with patients and the healthcare team.
• Promoting efficient and cost‑effective use of healthcare resources.

• Valid, active California state license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
