, a leading supplier of balers, shears, and shredders to the recycling industry, is hiring a CNC Machinist to join their team in Cordele, GA.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate machine tools to perform machining operations, such as turning, milling, drilling, grinding, and boring, to produce metal parts to required specifications.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine machining requirements, dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job, and set up machines according to work instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with machine tools, tooling, or work pieces during the machining process, and make adjustments or repairs as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machine tools, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), following machine safety guidelines, and reporting safety hazards or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of machining operations, including job setups, tooling changes, production counts, and quality inspection results, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physically demanding tasks associated with machining operations.
