Due to Growth, Harris American Company a leading supplier of balers, shears, and shredders to the recycling industry is seeking a motivated, team player to join their team as a Cutting Technician in Cordele, GA.

If you have experience working with bandsaws, water jets, plasma tables, or torches in industrial production environments, then you need to apply today!

    , based upon your experience and skills, with your hourly rate and overtime. Second shift employees will earn an additional $3 an hour as the shift differential.

    Shifts:

    With 2 shifts available, you can pick the schedule that works best for you! Choose between the first shift (7:00am-3:30pm) or the second shift (3:30pm-12:00am).

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate cutting machinery and tools safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
  • Review work orders, blueprints, and job specifications to determine cutting requirements.
  • Measure, mark, and align materials for accurate cuts.
  • Inspect materials and finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Assist in material handling, staging, and movement within the department.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the Cutting Lead or Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
  • Support production goals by completing tasks on schedule and assisting team members as needed.
