Due to Growth, Harris American Company a leading supplier of balers, shears, and shredders to the recycling industry is seeking a motivated, team player to join their team as a Cutting Technician in Cordele, GA.
If you have experience working with bandsaws, water jets, plasma tables, or torches in industrial production environments, then you need to apply today!

, based upon your experience and skills, with your hourly rate and overtime. Second shift employees will earn an additional $3 an hour as the shift differential. - Supportive Cross Training: Enjoy on-the-job training tailored to your skillset with experienced members of the team. You won’t get stuck in a rut here; you will become an expert on several machines across the cutting department. In addition, Harris American will pay for you to further your knowledge and skills through a technical school program.

Shifts:
With 2 shifts available, you can pick the schedule that works best for you! - Operate cutting machinery and tools safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
- Review work orders, blueprints, and job specifications to determine cutting requirements.
- Measure, mark, and align materials for accurate cuts.
- Inspect materials and finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Assist in material handling, staging, and movement within the department.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the Cutting Lead or Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Support production goals by completing tasks on schedule and assisting team members as needed.
