Manager, Magnolia Learning Institute
Job Summary: The Manager of the Magnolia Learning Institute (MLI) is responsible for the organization and oversight of clinical education for the clinical staff of MRHC and for the orientation program for all MRHC staff. The MLI Manager leads RN clinical educators and other education staff, promotes quality care in line with the hospital’s mission, meets regulatory standards, and collaborates with all departments to support education and quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Assess staff learning needs through observation, feedback, and performance data
- Develop and deliver orientation programs for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff
- Create educational materials, competency checklists, and simulation‑based learning experiences
- Collaborate with department leaders to address skill gaps and implement targeted training
- Ensure all training meets accreditation, licensing, and hospital policy requirements
- Maintain accurate records of staff participation, competencies, and certifications
- Stay current with healthcare trends, best practices, and regulatory changes
A Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare education, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience/Qualification RequirementsMinimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in a hospital; prior teaching, training, or preceptorship experience is required. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills are a plus.
