Pay

Pay: $27.00/hour starting, with potential to increase to $35/hour after 120 days based on performance.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team in Booneville, MS. In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping plant equipment running safely and efficiently through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs.

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs across plant equipment.
• Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and repairs.
• Conduct regular shift inspections of compressors, chillers, pumps, silos, extrusion equipment, and other critical systems.
• Report and resolve equipment issues, leaks, and hazards.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks (lubrication, filter changes, oil changes, motor/pump replacements, plumbing, painting, cleaning).
• Assess equipment performance and determine corrective actions.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
• Work independently and take on additional duties as needed.

• 2+ years of extrusion experience or 3+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Knowledge of compressed air, chilled water, recycled water, city water systems, electrical distribution panels, buss bar disconnects, and primary circuit breakers.
• Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills; welding and fabrication experience.
  
  Computer proficiency (SAP preferred).
• Strong commitment to safety and reliability.

• Regular standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching.
• Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  
  Exposure to mechanical parts, electrical risk, humid conditions, fumes, heat, vibration, and loud noise.
• Occasional work at heights or precarious places.
