Capex Projects EngineerThe Capex Projects Engineer will lead and oversee projects from initiation to completion, managing resources, schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, schedule and execute engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones, ensuring on‑time and cost‑effective delivery.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, materials and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with stakeholders such as clients, contractors and internal teams.
- Review and interpret engineering designs, blueprints and technical specifications.
- Provide technical support and solutions to address project challenges.
- Conduct engineering calculations, simulations and analyses as required.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards and regulations.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement quality control measures to meet or exceed expectations.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and adherence to design.
- Prepare and present detailed project updates, reports and financial summaries.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates.
- Manage changes to scope, schedule and costs while maintaining alignment with stakeholders.
- BSc in Engineering.
- Minimum 2‑3 years of project‑management experience, ideally in a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of project‑management methodologies.
- Preferably experience in FMCG.
- Preferably PMP certification or other relevant certifications.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in FMCG production.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Advanced user of MS Office and familiarity with MS Projects, technical drawings and Auto Cad.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
