Sr Technical Purchasing Specialist

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar technical procurement role,
• Proficient in MS Office applications and SAP MM module
  ,
• Skilled in developing procurement strategies and managing suppliers,
• Strong analytical thinking

  , and communication skills
  ,

• Monitor procurement processes, identify delays and deviations, and take necessary actions in line with the procurement procedures,
• Manage relationships with suppliers and conduct negotiations,
• Conduct price analysis, supplier research, selection, and contract preparation, while developing and implementing appropriate procedures,
• Manage communication with suppliers throughout the bidding/request-for-quotation process, attend meetings, and provide guidance and feedback as necessary,
• Ensure compliance of samples and technical specifications through coordination with relevant departments,
• Ensure that all goods and services are procured on time, at the right quality, and at optimal cost in alignment with corporate objectives and procurement strategies,
• Develop strategic approaches to identify and secure the best sourcing alternatives.
