Senior Tooling Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree, preferably in an engineering
• More than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of press processes and press tooling
• Experienced of design to manufacturer process
• Knowledge of CAD softwares for product and tool design
• Experience from different simulation softwares/tools
• Prior experience driving employee engagement preferred
• Take initiative, effective communication skill, team player, quick-learner
• Fluent english in both, written and verbal

• Creation and implementation of best practices for tooling excellences
• Reviewing and approving designs for new products or product improvements to ensure that they are feasible from a manufacturing standpoint
• Developing new methods for producing products that have lower costs or improved quality or both
• Developing relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure they can provide quality products at reasonable prices
• Press process simulation studies
• Oversee tooling trials, troubleshooting, problem solving from trial to production across the Dinex
• Manage post launch lessons learned specifically for new press toolings
• Evaluating new technology applications to reduce waste and increase efficiency in manufacturing processes
• Implement budget for investment projects of new toolings
• Sharing best practices by presenting improvements
• Develop tool tracking process for all toolings including planned activities and history of tools
• Perform root cause analyze and resolve component manufacturing problems
• To identify and eliminate process manufacturing capability risk in New Product Introduction.
• Make toolings group wise control plan and ensure the execution to sustain defined process across the Dinex.
