Hello, Sailor is currently hiring Servers (Full-Time/Part-Time)

We are a casual, fast-paced lakeside restaurant with evolving menu items, craft beer & cocktails.

Our culinary team has received James Beard Foundation nominations among other national and local accolades.

Position Summary We are hiring experienced, guest-focused Servers for our high-volume seasonal restaurant. Our ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and able to provide exceptional service while managing large sections during peak tourist months. Outdoor seating experience is a plus.

• Provide warm, efficient, attentive service to all guests
• Manage multiple tables and large sections during busy periods
• Memorize menu items and make knowledgeable recommendations
• Enter orders accurately, deliver food/drinks promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction
• Handle payments, closing checks, and cash-out procedures
• Maintain clean tables, service stations, and outdoor sections
• Collaborate with hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service

• Must commit to the full March–October season
• At least 1–2 years serving experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay calm during peak rushes
• Friendly, positive, team-oriented attitude
• Comfortable working outdoors and handling long shifts
• Ability to lift trays, stand for long periods, and navigate busy dining areas
