Part Time Barista

Position Overview

This is a part‑time position responsible for preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Starbucks Standards. Responsibilities include customer service, cleaning work areas, unloading and reloading stock, and handling salvage products.

• Prepare, process, package, and stock products in compliance with Starbucks Standards.
• Provide customer service and respond to guest needs.
• Clean work areas, unload and reload stock, and manage salvage products.

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months relevant experience or training.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to complete required training.
• Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Basic math skills (adding and subtracting two‑digit numbers and using U.S. currency and weight units).
• Reasonable accommodation available for disabilities.
• Complete company training including food sanitation, customer service, safety, and product knowledge; must be IST or AST certified.

Regular standing, walking, use of hands; lifting up to 30 pounds (occasionally 50 pounds); reaching 6–72 inches; climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching; hearing, tasting, smelling; vision in close, color, depth perception.

Moderate to loud noise. Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, moving parts, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
