Modern Genesis of Lake Norman is looking for a Certified Genesis, Hyundai, or Kia Technician to join our service team. We are specifically seeking a technician who already holds manufacturer certifications and has the experience and technical knowledge to handle diagnostics, repairs, and factory procedures at a high level.

Up to $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Around $30-35 per hour
, based on certifications, experience, and skill level

As a Certified Technician
, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Genesis, Hyundai, and Kia vehicles while following manufacturer specifications and factory repair procedures. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who has invested in manufacturer training and wants to continue building their career with a dealership that values skilled technicians.

You will work closely with our service advisors, service management, and other technicians to accurately diagnose concerns, complete repairs efficiently, and maintain a high standard of quality.

Diagnose and repair Genesis, Hyundai, and Kia vehicles

Perform advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics

Complete manufacturer-recommended maintenance and repairs

Perform warranty and recall repairs according to factory procedures

Utilize manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical resources

Properly document diagnostic findings and completed repairs

Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality standards

Stay current on new vehicle technology and manufacturer procedures

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Work as part of a team to provide a high-quality customer experience

Current Genesis, Hyundai, and/or Kia manufacturer certification required

Strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities

Experience working with manufacturer-specific diagnostic systems

Ability to accurately diagnose and repair complex vehicle concerns

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Own professional technician tools

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Dependable and team-oriented
