Overview
Lead Water Technician / Lead Water-Fire Mitigation Technician at SERVPRO of Hillsboro/Forest Grove. Currently we have openings for a Water or Fire - Lead Technician. We are a rapidly growing, locally owned and operated, national franchise focused on water and fire restoration, looking to expand our team.

Typical Schedule and EnvironmentTypical schedule:
Monday–Friday day shift, 40+ hours per week. As an emergency restoration company, we provide service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Days and times vary based on job needs. Must be willing to work a rotating on-call schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Follow instructions from the Production Manager or General Manager and perform tasks as instructed (based on specific job needs).
- Perform water extraction and pack-out contents.
- Remove and dispose of any non-salvageable materials that are affected.
- Perform light construction demolition upon approval.
- Work in confined, dirty, and/or high spaces as required.
- Set up drying equipment and monitor progress daily.
- Perform hard surface cleaning.
- Ensure paperwork is completed and properly filled out.
- Learn and utilize drying program on an iPad (Support Team Members).
- Learn and perform proper techniques to remediate mold, lead, and other hazardous materials.
- Effective oral and written communication and basic math skills.
- Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and an insurable driving record.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience with water or fire restoration.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
- Familiarity with construction and the ability to operate equipment common to construction demolition is a plus.
- Must be willing to work in environments affected by fire, water, and wind damage.
- Must be willing to respond to service calls after hours and during inclement weather on a rotating schedule.
- Requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
