Join Oratomic's mission to build a fault-tolerant quantum computer as an Embedded Hardware Engineer. Contribute to electronics, FPGAs, and software systems in a collaborative team environment.
Oratomic is actively seeking Embedded Hardware Engineers to design and operate neutral atom quantum computers. This role requires expertise in low-level hardware and software, engaging in processor design, firmware, and high-speed data acquisition within a close-knit team. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in embedded systems, electrical engineering, or FPGA development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design low-level control systems for quantum computers
• Collaborate on hardware and software development efforts
• Interface with scientific cameras and high-speed data acquisition
• Work closely with cross-functional teams on processor design
• Engage in troubleshooting and system integration tasks
Requirements:
• Passion for building a quantum computer
