As a Locum Neurologist in the Western Zone, you will deliver clinic-based services and inpatient consultations. This role involves working within an interdisciplinary team, liaising with medical staff, and supporting person-centered care. Your expertise will contribute to the health of approximately 80,000 residents in Western Newfoundland.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive neurological care for patients
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
• Make diagnoses based on observations and test results
• Discuss treatment options with patients and families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and medical staff
Requirements:
• Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized institution
• Certification in Neurology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland
• Satisfactory criminal record check and credentialing
• Ability to offer virtual care services
