Position: 3rd Class Power Engineer Role Available

This position in the Steam Plant requires candidates with at least a 3rd Class Power Engineering Ticket, with preference for those in pursuit of their 2nd Class ticket. You will contribute to safe plant operations, performing essential tasks and adapting to fast-paced changes in your work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain high-pressure boilers

• Manage demineralized water treatment system effectively

• Operate a 17 MW Siemens Turbo generator

• Assist with labour tasks outside of Steam Plant as needed

• Uphold Health and Safety commitments in operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3rd Class Power Engineering Ticket

• Industrial work experience preferred

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• WHMIS training and Standard First Aid Certification

• Availability for short notice emergency calls
