Mechanical Engineer at General Dynamics

In this full-time role, you will lead mechanical design projects while collaborating with Systems and Senior Mechanical Engineers. Your experience will guide the creation of designs that meet rigorous military standards. Key skills in environmental testing and mechanical analysis will be essential to advancing critical defense initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support product design from concept to production ramp-up

• Collaborate on mechanical and environmental requirements checks

• Create mechanical concepts and detailed designs using 3D tools

• Deliver presentations at design reviews and technical assessments

• Conduct environmental engineering tests for design verification

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

• Minimum 5 years in mechanical design or systems development

• Familiarity with thermal, vibration, and shock testing

• Strong analytical skills in structural and thermal analysis

• Experience with finite element analysis and engineering standards
