Position: Caregiver Home Support Worker Role
Become a Home Support Worker with Brightisle, providing essential care to support clients’ independence and well-being. This position emphasizes personal assistance and companionship for individuals facing health challenges.

As a crucial member of the care team, you will directly report to the Client Care Coordinator and help clients manage daily living activities. Key tasks will involve personal care, engaging in community activities, and maintaining a safe environment. You will also document client progress and adapt your support to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personal care services like bathing and grooming

• Manage meal preparation and routine housekeeping

• Accompany clients to community events and appointments

• Adhere to and document the approved care plan

• Foster emotional well-being and strong relationships

Requirements:

• High school diploma; certification as a home support worker is preferred

• Experience serving seniors or those with disabilities

• Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector checks must be obtained

• Negative TB skin test and current Immunization Record

• First Aid Certification preferred; flexibility in shifts required
