ABOUT

THE ROLE

The Senior Videographer & Editor will play a key role within the Creative team, leading the production of compelling video content that brings the Finisterre brand to life across all digital channels. This role is responsible for the end-to-end creation of high-quality video assets, from concept through to final delivery - while contributing creative ideas, maintaining exceptional production standards and supporting wider creative output across the brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production

  • Videography:
    Shoot high-quality video content in various environments, from studio settings to challenging outdoor locations and live events, requiring expertise with cameras, advanced lighting setups, and professional sound equipment.
  • Attend seasonal campaign shoots to capture our full product range for PDP videos, as well as high-quality video content for broader marketing and brand assets – including seasonal launch videos.
  • Direct subjects in interview-style Q&A and storytelling videos, with the ability to put contributors at ease and capture authentic, engaging content.
  • Create high-performing paid video ads at speed and scale, delivering multiple creative variations optimised for performance across digital channels.
  • Video Editing:
    Edit raw footage into professional, polished videos using Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar), incorporating sound design, music, graphics, and special effects.
  • Motion Graphics:
    Design and create high-level motion graphics and visual effects using tools like Adobe After Effects to elevate brand storytelling and campaign performance.
Creative
  • Seasonal & Campaign Focus:
    Lead the ideation and creation of visually captivating content (both static and video) for all marketing channels, including paid and organic social media, email, and the website, ensuring seamless integration across all digital touchpoints.
  • Creative and Strategic Input:
    Contribute to the overall brand content strategy and provide clear, actionable creative input to consistently improve content quality, engagement, and effectiveness.
  • Client/Stakeholder Liaison:
    Work directly with marketing, e-commerce, and product teams to accurately understand project requirements, manage expectations, and present creative work effectively.
Brand
  • Quality Control:
    Ensure all final content aligns strictly with brand guidelines, tone, and the highest technical and quality standards.
  • Asset Management:
    Organise and maintain a clean, well-structured Digital Asset Management (DAM) system for all raw footage, final video files, and static design assets.
    Coach, mentor and train junior team members to build knowledge, skills and expertise essential in their role for now and in the future.
  • Be a role model and coach the team in behaviours which align with the company vision, strategy, and values.
  • Train the team in areas relating to diversity and inclusion, and maintain high standards of appropriate activity

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO FINISTERRE
  • Proven experience in videography and video editing with a strong, diverse portfolio showcasing versatility in technical execution and visual storytelling.
  • Advanced proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite is essential, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, as well as Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong technical knowledge of video production equipment, including professional-grade cameras (e.g., DSLRs/Mirrorless systems), advanced lighting setups, and reliable audio recording gear.
  • Expertise with a range of post-production techniques, such as professional colour correction, detailed colour grading, and complex motion graphics.
