About the Role:

SEND Inclusion Support are seeking an experienced SEND Teacher for one of our partner schools in Cornwall. This specialist provision supports pupils with PMLD, pre-verbal communication needs, and ASD. Classes are small, around six pupils, allowing for highly personalised, creative, and adaptive teaching approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead a class of approximately six pupils with complex SEND needs

* Plan and deliver individualised, sensory and communication-focused learning programmes

* Collaborate closely with SEND TAs, therapists, and other professionals

* Implement strategies to support engagement, wellbeing, and learning progress

* Foster a nurturing, structured, and safe classroom environment

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Experience teaching pupils with PMLD, ASD, or similar complex SEND needs

* Strong understanding of sensory learning and communication approaches

* Calm, flexible, and child-centred teaching style
