Planning Project Engineer - Renewable Energy

North Cornwall
Salary: £30,000 (DOE)

Contract:

Full-time, permanent

A leading renewable energy developer is seeking a Planning Project Engineer to join their expanding planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of Solar PV, Wind, and Battery Storage projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the preparation and submission of planning applications.
Conduct planning research and site feasibility studies.
Assist with the creation of plans and visuals for planning submissions.
Review potential sites for renewable energy development.
Identify and evaluate opportunities for new wind and battery projects.

Essential Requirements:

Degree in Planning, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Proficiency with ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
