Are you an enthusiastic, caring person who enjoys making a real difference in someone's life? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

Ourway Care is looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team supporting a gentleman with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) in the Gunnislake area. He lives at home with his family and their friendly pet dogs and is looking for someone who can provide person-centred support while helping him work towards his rehabilitation goals.

You will be supporting him with all aspects of his daily living, including personal care, mobility and household tasks as well as working alongside therapists and implementing his rehabilitation programme, including hydrotherapy sessions.

Our client has a passion for an active lifestyle and all things sport, particularly playing and watching rugby. He also enjoys training for endurance challenges, including triathlons and other sporting events, so someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and can encourage and support him in pursuing these goals would be a great fit. When he's not training, he enjoys getting out and about, creating adventures, finding good coffee and cake, cooking, gardening, model building and sharing his devilish sense of humour.

We're looking for someone who is compassionate, proactive, and enjoys encouraging others to achieve their goals. If you share a love of being active and out and about, can build positive relationships, and are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
