Branch Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Saltash
£60,000 – £90,000 + bonus
My client in Cornwall is embarking on an exciting new chapter with the opening of a brand-new branch in Saltash, and is looking for an ambitious Veterinary Surgeon to take the lead from the very beginning. They are keen to hear from Veterinary Surgeons who are driven, committed to high clinical standards and excited by the prospect of leading a new practice.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced, motivated vet to play a key role in shaping a practice from the ground up. The successful candidate will have the chance to influence everything from the development of the branch and its clinical standards to the culture and growth of the team, with the long-term goal of establishing the practice as a leading veterinary service in the local area.
They will not be expected to do it alone. The practice directors and management team will provide strong ongoing support, while the successful candidate can take an active role in the branch without being exposed to financial risk. There is also a genuine opportunity to share in the success and future growth of the practice.
They are committed to creating a people-first environment where colleagues feel valued, supported and listened to. Building lasting relationships with clients is equally important, with an emphasis on delivering consistently high standards of care and creating a service that clients can trust.
The practice invests heavily in its people and clinical offering, including modern equipment, high-quality facilities and ongoing training. Feedback from the team is actively encouraged and used to shape the way the practice develops, with continuous improvement at the heart of the business.
For an ambitious vet who wants more than a standard clinical role and would relish the opportunity to help build something from the ground up, this could be an exciting opportunity in the beautiful South-West.
Salary: £60,000 – £90,000 plus bonus.
