Smart Meter Technician

Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the utilities sector for Trainee Smart Meter Technicians. No prior experience is necessary – full training, equipment, and a company vehicle will be provided.

You’ll be working across the local water network in either the Cornwall/Newquay areas

area, installing and exchanging smart water meters and uploading data via a company-issued tablet.

Smart Meter Technician’s Responsibilities:

* Install and exchange smart water meters at customer properties

* Upload data using provided tablet and software

* Work independently across the local area

* Represent the company in a professional manner

* Adhere to health and safety procedures and company standards

Smart Meter Technician Qualities:

* A positive attitude and strong work ethic

* Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

* A reasonably clean UK driving licence

* Ability to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

* Must be located within commutable distance to either Cornwall or Salisbury (accommodation not provided)
