DetailsThis seasonal student position, available May to September 2026, offers up to 36.25 hours of variable work each week. Ideal candidates will communicate effectively with diverse audiences while showcasing historical trades, farming, and period music. You will learn various interpretive materials, ensuring a captivating experience for visitors of all ages.
Responsibilities- Represent Upper Canada Village's rich tourism heritage
- Interpret 1860s Ontario life through engaging activities
- Ensure safety by reporting hazards promptly
- Embrace equity, diversity, and inclusion principles in interactions
- Solid communication skills for diverse audiences
- Knowledge of mid-19th century Ontario history
- Physical ability for interpretive activities
- Willingness to wear historical costume
- Complete a vulnerable sector check
