Student Monitor at Upper School Board

Location: Long Sault

Ensure student safety and support at Upper Canada District School Board as a Student Monitor. Provide supervision during breaks and maintain adherence to school conduct guidelines.

The Upper Canada District School Board is seeking a Student Monitor to oversee students during lunch, in halls, and during field trips. This position requires at least six months of experience working with children in a supervisory capacity. Candidates should have well-developed communication skills and the ability to respond to student needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor students during breaks, yard duty, and hallways

• Supervise field trips and schoolyard activities as instructed

• Communicate acceptable behaviors and school policies to students

• Demonstrate consistent attendance and workplace safety

• Assist with additional duties as required

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma is mandatory

• Minimum six months of supervisory experience with students

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow school procedures with discretion
