In this responsible role, you will manage the steam boiler plant and relevant utilities, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Your expertise in preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs will be essential, as you tackle chemical treatments and plant fire suppression systems, along with utilizing a distributed control system for monitoring. Expect to collaborate across departments while frequently participating in training modules to enhance your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate high-pressure steam boiler and related equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance on plant systems

• Manage chemical treatment for steam and wastewater

• Monitor systems via control systems and maintain safety

• Assist departments with troubleshooting issues

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario 4th Class Operating Engineer’s License

• Experience in chemical or industrial facility

• Proficiency in English and math

• Experience in troubleshooting industrial equipment

• Knowledge of computer management systems preferred
