Cornwall HSE Manager for Safety Programs

Location: Long Sault

Join a leading manufacturing organization as a Safety, Health & Environment Manager in Cornwall, ON. This hands-on, full-time role focuses on effective safety program implementation across facilities.

You will report directly to the Vice President of Operations, leading safety and environmental compliance initiatives while fostering a culture of health and safety. In this prominent role, your contributions will be crucial in minimizing workplace hazards and ensuring adherence to regulations across Canadian and U.S. sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage SHE compliance and support cross-border operations

• Prepare environmental reports for regulatory bodies

• Oversee hazard communication and industrial hygiene monitoring

• Conduct facility audits and establish safety standards

• Coach supervisors on SHE best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Occupational Health and Safety

• 7 to 10 years of experience in health and safety

• CRSP and/or CHSC designation required

• Knowledge of Canadian health legislation is essential

• Experience in a unionized environment
