Cashier (Part-Time)

• Provide high‑level customer service at checkouts.
• Accurately record customer transactions in the electronic cash register, mainline, and self‑checkouts.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
• Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout work area.
• Follow loss prevention best practices.
• Comply with all policies when selling tobacco and lottery products.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Typical part‑time schedule: a mix of days, evenings, and weekends—up to 24 hours per week.

• Stand and/or walk; bend, twist, and squat.
• Lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs.).
• Perform tasks requiring firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.
• Reach above shoulder height and below waist level.
• Operate equipment, including using a ladder.

• Hourly rate: $17.60.
• Annual bonus: 3% store bonus plan.
