Join our Residential Social Services team in Sandringham, Johannesburg as a dedicated Social Worker. You will support residents' emotional wellbeing through casework and multidisciplinary collaboration.

In this permanent role, you will provide vital psychosocial assessments and tailored intervention plans for residents and their families. Leveraging your 2-3 years of experience, you will conduct family meetings, facilitate support groups, and coordinate referrals to specialized services. Your compassionate approach will contribute to the holistic care and emotional health of individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychosocial assessments for residents

• Develop and implement individual care plans

• Facilitate family communication and meetings

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention

• Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work

• Current registration with SACSSP

• 2–3 years’ relevant experience

• Strong communication and report writing skills

• Valid driver’s license
