Are you an experienced bookkeeper looking for an exciting short-term project in the manufacturing industry? Our client, a dynamic company in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to assist with critical accounting functions during a 30-day project. This role is based on-site in Corona, California, and offers a competitive hourly rate. You will be able to apply your expertise in bookkeeping and financial reconciliations to support essential operations during this time-sensitive engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP standards.
• Handle journal entries (JE) and general ledger (GL) management.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Match invoices and payments to the appropriate accounts.
• Assist with accruals and adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely reporting.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial statements.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping within a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in journal entries and general ledger management.
• Expertise in account reconciliations and financial matching.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Quick Books or SAP.
• Knowledge of accrual accounting practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
