Cooper Douglas has partnered with a leading, fast-growing manufacturing company in the Inland Empire to hire a Staff Accountant. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious accountant who wants to grow with a company that is scaling quickly through acquisitions, with real exposure to a multi-entity environment and a team that rewards initiative.
What you'll do- Support the month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and prepaids
- Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations
- Support inventory and cost accounting activity for a manufacturing operation
- Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation
- Support AP and AR as needed, including reviewing coding and resolving discrepancies
- Help with intercompany activity and reporting back to the parent company
- Prepare schedules and support for the annual audit
- Look for ways to improve and standardize processes as the company grows
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Big 4 public accounting or manufacturing industry experience
- Solid understanding of GAAP, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to grow your career with the company
- Detail oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
