Solar Service Technician – Freedom Forever
Join Freedom Forever’s residential solar maintenance team in Escondido, CA. Work 40 hrs/week, onsite at renewable energy sites.
Pay Range $22/hr – $30/hr (DOE) + comprehensive benefits.

- HSA & FSA, Employee Assistance, PTO, Company Vehicle
- Perform preventive & corrective maintenance on PV inverters, string boxes, panels.
- Commission solar arrays, install hardware, inverters, monitoring equipment.
- Electrical wiring (AC & DC), perform voltage testing, troubleshoot, repair.
- Prepare reports, meet O&M contract deliverables.
- Attend training, follow safety, maintain housekeeping.
- High School / GED.
- 1+ year solar experience, electrical & roof racking knowledge.
- Experience installing grid‑tier inverters, ground/roof mount racking.
- Knowledge of NEC codes, PV component performance, halts.
- Valid driver’s license, clean record.
- Stand, walk, run, climb ladders, kneel, crouch, lift 50+ lbs.
- Work long periods on feet, in confined areas, extreme temps.
Up to 100% travel for business sites; driver’s license & insurance required.
